THE CHALLENGES
Adults with Unique abilities often face more challenges
regarding work, career choices, higher education, and independence.
TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD
There are organizations and agencies that help with the transition into adulthood for these young adults. However, there aren't enough. As a result, our community faces a critical deficiency of transitional services for these individuals.
EMPLOYMENT
It can be challenging for these adults to find long-term employment. This can provide little support in the development of work skills, as well as financial issues.
SELF-ADVOCACY
Some individuals struggle with self-advocacy during job interviews, classes and when applying to universities. This skill is essential to develop an individual's career and education opportunities.
LIFE & SOCIAL SKILLS
Life and social skills are almost always a challenge for someone with a unique ability. Whether it be adjusting to everyday life on their own, or making new friends at their school or workplace, these skills are incredibly important.
Overcoming Barriers
Vision of Hope understands the challenges faced by young adults with Unique abilities. After all, that is why our non-profit was created.
Since its formation in 2009, Vision of Hope has been committed to helping individuals get the resources they need, as quickly as possible!

We truly believe it's our God-given responsibility to help adults with unique abilities. We help with life skills, receive vocational training, job placement assistance, and other services and support they need to fully develop their potential.
